How to do a fashion show without a stage?
The new spring edition of silk clothing is here. As a follow-up to the award-winning VENUS collection from the Golden Needle, the new dresses and mini-skirts come in bright and summery colors. All items are made from 100% silk and one size fits all. The flowing gowns let your spirit fly.
The new series was planned to be launched in March 2020 along the Tallinn Fashion Week. But as we’ve witnessed, life had other plans. While staying at home, we put our minds to work – how can we put up a show with the new line, but without a stage, models and a direct audience?
Anna Kaneelina as our muse
Anna Pärnoja (artist name Kaneelina) is a musician, who has a story. A free spirit, where ethereal talent, fragile sensibility and beauty meet.
Her essence captured perfectly the collections spirit – both playing around with 70s inspired dreamy attitude and exotic patterns.

“We let her be the model, her own make-up artist, and the photographer.”
She was the perfect muse. Therefore, on one morning, Tanel packed the collection along with some scarves and jewellery, and left it contact-free behind Anna’s door. We let her be the model, her own make-up artist, and the photographer (we guess her husband Erki gave a helping hand).
Upon receiving the pictures from the home-made photoshoot from Anna, it left Tanel fascinated:
“The experiment of letting the muse just live and be with my creation in her own home, gave us photos with such atmosphere and charm that just cannot be produced with any staged fashion-shoot.”
We hope you enjoy the result just as much as we have!
