Supporting NOOR EHE / young jewellery

The foundation

The charitable foundation Noor Ehe / Young Estonian Jewellery was founded in 2008 with the aim of supporting the work of new, outstanding talented young jewelers in Estonia. The grant is given either as recognition for excellence in creative work or to help support professional development.

The foundation was brought to life by Kadri Mälk – artist, head of the blacksmithing and jewellery department of Estonian Acadamy of Arts. Soon Tanel Veenre became to be one of the permanent supporters and now with the brand Tanel Veenre Jewellery as well.

“According to an Estonian proverb: you need to fertilize the cabbage that is growing.
Where do children come from? Where do works of art come from?
Where else but from under healthy, vigorous cabbage leaves.
Or from the sky? Or – from love?” – Kadri Mälk

Traditionally November has been the month for the foundation to nominate the recipients of the grant. This year everything is different and therefore the ceremony will be held in 2021.

Until then Tanel Veenre Jewellery is dedicating its core essence for the support of young jewellers. From the sales of black and dark blue EARBERRIES we donate 20% to the foundation Noor Ehe:
